Major Crimes:
09-02909; Grand Theft; 500 block Broad Ave S; A victim reported that sometime between 6/20/09 & 12/01/09 household items were stolen from the residence.
09-02915; Grand Theft; 1900 9th St. N; An employee reported that merchandise was stolen from the display counter.
Arrest:
09-02911; Retail Theft; 1800 9th St. N; Tavaris Washington, 24, of Ft. Myers was arrested after he concealed merchandise and left the store without paying.
09-02917; Petit Theft; 1798 9St. N. Marcos Sanchez, 50, was arrested after he stole a customers shopping bag containing already purchased merchandise. Sanchez then exited the store but was located by officers while still in possession of the stolen merchandise
