Employee Awards (Fire)
The Naples Police and Fire Department, in cooperation with the residents and visitors of the City of Napels, strive to improve the quality of life in our city by collectively identifying and resolving public safety issues. We strongly believe in the community policing model, and feel it goes beyond just the officers assigned to the COP unit.
To that end, we encourage our officers to interact with people on a daily basis as they perform their duties. Because of the high level of public contact, we always want to hear from you, the public.
We are contacted by members of the public on a regular basis to let us know about their contact with members of our agency. The largest percentage of calls and letters we receive are to tell us about the great work the men and women of the Naples Police and Fire Department do, day in and day out.
Police Officers, like Fire Fighters, Paramedics and Telecommunicators, understand the work we do is meant to help others. While we don’t do it for the recognition, being recognized for good work is always appreciated.
