January 2009
On January 30th, 2009 at about 3:00am, multiple officers responded to a call from a juvenile who reported a strange man has come into her bedroom and sat at the foot of her bed mumbling. The man appeared to be intoxicated. The man was identified as Clint Joseph Richardson, 35. Richardson was apprehended and arrested for Burglary (Case# 09-00267).
We received an e-mail from Ms. Amy Ashby, the mother of the reporter who was also in the house at the time of the incident. Ms. Ashby wanted to say how impressed she was with all of the officers who responded to her home that night.
Ms. Ashby stated officers responded within 30 seconds and apprehended the subject with professionalism and expertise. She wanted to thank all of the officers involved for their “unbelievable professionalism” in the handling of the incident.
Congratulations to all officers involved for your good teamwork in this incident.
