Citizen Compliment from Sheriff Kevin Rambosk

January 2010

We received a letter from Sheriff Kevin Rambosk who wanted to tell us of the excellent way members of our department handles a multiple vehicle, block long accident on Golden

Gate Parkway. He was traveling on the Parkway and came upon the accident. Within one minute, NPD personnel arrived on the scene. NFD personnel arrived shortly afterwards.

He stated that all officers and fire personnel immediately control of the scene, provided aid to the injured, safely controlled the flow of traffic and rendered the area safe for all involved and the public.

With the pro-active and professional direction, coordination and control of the incident by police and fire personnel, the situation was resolved efficiently, effectively and safely.

Congratulations on a job well done.

Intoxicated Intruder

January 2009

On January 30th, 2009 at about 3:00am, multiple officers responded to a call from a juvenile who reported a strange man has come into her bedroom and sat at the foot of her bed mumbling. The man appeared to be intoxicated. The man was identified as Clint Joseph Richardson, 35. Richardson was apprehended and arrested for Burglary (Case# 09-00267).

We received an e-mail from Ms. Amy Ashby, the mother of the reporter who was also in the house at the time of the incident. Ms. Ashby wanted to say how impressed she was with all the officers who responded to her home that night.

Ms. Ashby stated officers responded within 30 seconds and apprehended the subject with professionalism and expertise. She wanted to thank all the officers involved for their “unbelievable professionalism” in the handling of the incident.

Congratulations to all officers involved for your good teamwork in this incident.
